Sea Of Thieves doesn't let me log in with a different Microsoft account

A long ago I deleted my email address because it got hacked and I couldn't help with it, with this account I was also playing sea of thieves and other games.. Now whenever I choose start game it tells me that the game's services are down, I searched it and it may be internet problems, my internet is fine so other thing was to log out and log in with the account I was playing. I did realized it was using the deleted email so I pressed "Log in with different Microsoft account." And nothing happens, it's just returning me back to add my password.

On which platform are you playing the game, Steam or Xbox/Windows?
Are you able to play/login just fine with your other Xbox games?
Have you also tried to reinstall or reset/repair the game?

Thank you for the additional information, Kate. Since this is on Steam platform, we only have limited support when it comes to Steam platform as we mainly support here Xbox/Windows platform. If your other games work fine, then it's clearly an in-game issue specific to SOT.

As our workaround, try the following steps below:
- Click the Start button from the bottom Left corner of Windows and type Credentials Manager then press Enter.
- Once viewing the Credentials Manager, click the Windows Credentials button.
- Find Entries labelled Xbl_Ticket
- Left click any with 1717113201 in the name and select Remove
- Sign back in to Sea of Thieves.

If it's still doing the same thing, I recommend that you directly send a ticket to SOT Support here https://support.seaofthieves.com/requests/new for them to assist you further regarding this issue.

Greetings Rostom, thank you for your reply.

I'm bought the game and run it on Steam, I have reinstalled the game and repaired it as well, but it keeps doing the same thing. And yes I can play and log in in other Xbox games (Minecraft).

I have also cleared my temp and the Microsoft store's cache. And the same thing happens. Also I don't even have the deleted email anywhere, in my Microsoft store I have the one I'm using right now to send this message and I'm also using it for Minecraft, but for Sea of Thieves it's just repeating the same thing with the deleted one and it won't let me log in with other Microsoft account..

Even if that account is signed into the Xbox app and the win 10 store? The account with XGP is on 2 different user accounts on my computer. Some games have let me play them such as Sea of Thieves and The Outer Worlds.

If I may ask, may I know which platform are you trying to play the game, is it on Windows PC or Xbox console?

Kindly confirm if the Sea of Thieves premium version pre-order transaction is showing up under your Microsoft account on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history > select the date of range when you pre-ordered your game.

If the Sea of Thieves transaction doesn't show up, this means that you have purchased the game on a different Microsoft account. Please check your other Xbox email accounts' order history.
