Sea of Thieves Anniversary Update Complaint

I understand your frustration, however, I do wish to give you some pointers and examples revolving this case;

1. You purchased the game originally satisfied with the original price.
2. When you purchased the game, you have used the product.
3. Video games when out tend to change prices a lot.

Sometimes games have sales, sometimes they release big updates, please remember that some people purchased games like Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for around 50 when it first came out, now the prices are MUCH MUCH lower, so remember about this.

Now if you DO want to request a refund for your purchase you may, however, the game is also out on Xbox Gamepass, so don't forget that.

Hope this enlightened you a bit, as I can understand where you are coming from.

I understand where you are coming from however they are not selling you an update for $50, the new

Sea of Thieves: Anniversary edition is the game itself and not an update.

Your game should be updated automatically when an update does rollout for this game.

I think it's going to stay at $50. I too bought it at $60, but I also was able to play the game longer than those just jumping aboard.... (Had to throw in the pun) I don't believe we should be entitled to extra items, just because we paid a bit more than
new players.

I think it is because you are trying to download Sea of thieves instead of the anniversary edition.

Try this:

Open the Microsoft Store(No the gamepass app), then search for Sea of thieves: Anniversary Edition and try to download that.

I own the anniversary edition of Sea of Thieves and that version is Play anywhere
