Screenshot issues.

For the past few days I’ve been having issues with my screen shot. I’ve looked and tried every single option out there from a soft reset to checking settings, the strange thing is my clip works perfectly but no matter what I have tried there is no solution.
And I have heaps of room on my Xbox One. There are heaps of other people who have had the same issue but they seem to have had no luck as well. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

just to be sure, do you have a Xbox Live Gold subscription?

Since this is what I found on the
Record & Capture support page:

Note Saving and sharing screenshots requires Xbox Live Gold. If you don’t have it, you can take screenshots on someone else’s home Xbox as long as someone with Xbox Live Gold is signed in.

When i open the home button to take a screenshot, it doesn’t work. And when using the capture and share tab it doesn’t work when i click on the capture screenshot button.

Would be helpful if we knew what the problem with your screenshots is. Can you explain please?

Thanks, let's try another things first before doing a fresh install or upgrading to Windows 11.

1. Uninstall Game Bar:

Right-click on the Start button and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the pop-up menu.

Copy and paste the following command in PowerShell and hit Enter to uninstall the Game Bar from your system.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

Now head over to Microsoft Store and search for Xbox Game Bar, install it and give it a new try.

2. Delete registry keys related to game bar:

Press Windows + R to open the RUN window, the type regedit and hit enter

Go to this path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR

**You need to click in the little arrow to expand the folder

Once there delete all the registry keys except (Default)

Restart your PC and give it a new try
