    Screen Time Scheduling Problem

Since when does Microsoft choose when a person can or cannot play xbox? I cannot set a screen time past midnight! This is the most ridiculous thing I've seen Microsoft do in a long time!

I want to be able to allow my teenager to play until I say (1:00am or maybe later on a Saturday night) but the way this stupid screen time scheduling is setup you cannot choose any time around the clock, only up to 12:00am!)

How about you leave the parenting up to the parents and simply let me choose the blocks that I want to turn blue...

    :)

Thanks for the reply. I've enabled IPv6 on my ASUS router and verified that each XBox now has an IPv4 address and IPv6 address. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing the time scheduling problem. I'm considering rolling back the firmware on my router

Exede ISP - 650,000 customers - Free Zone (un-metered usage) 12AM-5AM - No option to schedule update downloads? Disappointing MS!

That's not a bad idea Badger.. Prior to posting I did Google it, and did find several threads there.

Hundreds? of people have been posting requests to this effect there since 2014 without a MS response.

I thought I'd try this avenue (and provide a more comprehensive "subject" text for the next person in my situation, searching for a solution)

    Screen Time Scheduling Problem

Hi. Have you tried going to your family page on
    Your Family
( https://account.microsoft.com/family/)? There find your kid's account and select screen time. You will be able to set the time past midnight for the following day or even deactivate Xbox screen time for a child account.

Yes of course, but the idiotic way that the screen time schedule was designed you CANNOT choose just whatever you like for it to be.

Why not simply let people highlight any of the boxes for the time you want out of a full 24hr day. Why make me choose a stupid drop down box that limits my choices and then ends up highlighting only what is available. They need to take notes from the ASUS
router schedule which is SUPER simple to set time limits throughout the whole day, and several times a day.

You can but you need too take into account that 1201am would be the next day. So for example lets say you want too aloow 6pm till 1am on a saturday you would input that has 6pm till 12am on sat then 12am till 1am on a sunday
