Screen Time for Xbox One

I didn't set up a separate parent account when initially setting up this xbox for my son. So, his profile is under my email address, which is listed as the parent account in the https://account.microsoft.com/family section.
He has his own email address and after a couple hours of frustration, I figured why the screen time limits weren't working...because its not connected to his email address. Is there a way to get around this without erasing all of his progress in his different
games and starting over? Can I just add another one of my email addresses as the parent account and re-assign my current email as his child account so I can set up screen times?

I'm not actually sure if Xbone has a timer. However, your TV definitely should!

Hi, everyone! Thank you for the replies. I should have been more clear. I do have a family account and my son has his own profile. I'm familiar with the screentime settings, but I would like to be able to set the time to carry over toto the next day if
that makes sense. For example I would like to set the time for him to be able to play from 11am and have it cut off around 1 or 2am that night/next morning so he can't play all night. I can't seem to figure it out in the set hours. The answer is probably
obvious but I just can't figure it out. Lol!

Hi there,

In a Microsoft family you are able to designate any account as a child account. The child account is not a child account because of age but, because of designation.

I have two accounts with the same date of birth and one is the parent and the other the adult.

Please give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Short answer, no, the thing is the original account was set up as an adult so there is no real way to set up time limits. The best course of action would be to start a new child account since any messing with the account birthday would cause a mismatch and
