Screen slightly dims after about 5 minutes of gameplay

Thanks AJ. So the soft factory reset with the option to keep games and apps is safe but a factory default setting I could lose everything unless backed up on cloud? So glad you told me that..also reinstalling the game is a much better option. Especially with it more than likely being an in game issue..also being a game preview. I may just wait til the 22nd when session 1.0 releases and see if the issue clears up then. Thank you much for your insight and help on this issue. Best Regards

In my experience, I think it's far more likely for this to be an in-game issue than something wrong with your console.

Additionally, please rest assured that signing up for Game Pass wouldn't have any impact on Sessions: Skate Sim, even if this particular game was part of the Game Pass catalog.

As for additional troubleshooting, you could try reinstalling the game and/or performing a soft factory reset.

To reinstall the game:

• Go to My games & apps > Sessions: Skate Sim > Uninstall.

• Then reinstall the game through your game library.

To perform a soft factory reset:

• Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Xbox > Keep games and apps.

*** Important: please keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) to complete the setup process.

Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

Hi AJ, thank you again for the info. All the settings were already like you suggested except the timed dimming..I set it to 60 minutes and it still does it. I did ask on crea-ture discord. Someone said it's probably a bug that will be fixed. I really hope that's the case. I may try resetting my console. It seems like it started happening after getting the free month of game pass. The game preview I bought but went ahead and tried gamepass for a month. Not 100% sure that's when it started and may have nothing to do with it but thought I'd give you as much info as possible. Again hopefully just a bug..I'll know in 10 days when it releases. Thank you again for your help

• I'd suggest going through both of your TVs' settings menus and disabling any picture-enhancing feature, special viewing mode, and energy-saving mode. Samsung TVs usually have an EcoSensor feature, so I'd also suggest turning that off.

Please keep in mind that "Sessions: Skate Sim" is still in its "Game Preview" stage, so this may be on the game's side of things, especially if the dimming is not present while playing other games. Have you already reported this to Crea-Ture Studios?

On your console:

• Go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Night mode > set Night mode to "Off".

• Go to Settings > General > TV & display options > Video fidelity & overscan > set "Overrides" to "Auto- Detect"

• Lastly, Go to Settings > Preferences > Idle options > Dime screen after > set this to the highest time frame possible. I understand this one may seem unnecessary considering the dimming is happening while you are playing, but there are some very rare instances in which an in-game issue can be related to a console's settings.
