    Screen Problem


    Hi!

    I'm currently using the MS VGA HD Cable for Xbox 360 and my problem is the screen wont fit on my pc monitor (Samsung Syncmaster 920nw)

    there is a black part on the right side of the screen

    i tried all the resolutions and 640 x 480 is the only resolution that fits perfectly.



    but im not satisfied on my resolution cause i want to set it on HD (1024 X 768 or 1280 X 768)

    Does your XBOX360 freeze?

    I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

    thats the lag compensation crap that every ones been on about, its all the other crap that they have running that causes it aswell there tracker/elite/stats/thearter cant handle it.

    Hey Iowa! Letting us know what did happen when you try the steps would help us out in determining the next suggestion. Another thing you could try is resetting your video settings. To do this, simply press and hold (Y) and the Right Trigger as the console
    boots up. Let us know how that goes, thanks!

    Have you tried going into your console settings to the display section and trying the different resolution settings?

    Try clearing the cache from the console with the
    power cycle     system.
