    Our Xbox One S was working fine for several days but now the lower half of the screen is glitching/jumping. It's on all screens, games, menus, and even during start-up, but the TV itself is not having the issue with any other devices or regular TV. Is
    there something wrong with the console or a something I can do to fix it? Or, can it be a virus (it started after installing a game)?

    Screen leaping and display flickering are frequent troubles with LCD monitors, and can have a range of causes. The most common cause is a low refresh rate. Luckily, a computer's refresh charge is easy to adjust.

    Have you tried changing the HDMI cable? It could just be something as simple as that.
    I did try unplugging/re-plugging it and making sure it wasn't loose. We've only just had it since Christmas, but maybe I'll have to go buy another cable.

    Hi,

    Try different cables and different TV's. If you're still having issues get the console replaced.

    The Xbox is locked down system it is impossible to get a virus on it.

    I assume this TV doesn't support HD video which is why your using VRL/SCART. I think my parents have the same TV. On the TV remote control there should be an 'aspet ratio' button, it might be set to auto, try changing it to widescreen. Also there should
    be a RBG Component input at the back of the TV, try this instead of VRL.

    and the problem is back but now also during battlefield usually it doesn't affect the games themself
