Screen capture videos on age of empire 4 save in inverted/negative colours?

When I record screen capture videos on age of empire 4 it only saves in strange colours ie negative colour scheme. It does not do this on other games.

I have had a look at the settings but nothing seems to be working.

I'm playing on an xbox one s, the digital version.

anno and age of empires 2 are the closest i've seen so far, is age of empires 3-4 basically the same as 2 or no?

I have a similar issue. I try to save my screen captures and it says "Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. PLease try again".

Actually, even the videos I capture cannot be saved.

I have xbox gold membership, if that info is relevant.
