Scratched XBox One GTA 5 disk

You could check with Rockstar to see if they have a disc replacement program, buy a new one, or buy it digitally. Copying the disc would both be illegal and would not work.

Install to HD disk always. XBox will then only spin up the disk to confirm that you own the disk. Not only do you lower the risk of scratched disks but you can continue to use scratched ones. For example, I have an old Mass Effect 1 & a Perfect Dark Zero
disk that were scratched; I borrowed a friend's copies to install but can still use my own to play the Hard Disk content.



In the case of GTA V, you need to install the "Install" disk to the Hard Drive and they recommend not to install the "Play" disk to the same drive. However, you could install an unscratched "Play" disk to a USB drive instead. Hopefully, you can then continue
to play GTA V (with the scratched disk for license purposes)

hi i have a xbox 360 elite s 250gb i was playing gta 5 i got it out to change game i saw it scratched a ring all around the disk and cracked 2 lines at opposite sides on the inner sliver circle HELP what do i do would i be able to get a replacement disk

Hello. Faced with the following problem. my xbox 360 has damaged the acne disk gta 5 now the game constantly crashes and warns of drive failure. After sightseeing drive I found it a circular scratch. Is it possible to download the game disk from the network
and install or do I have to buy a new game. Thanks in advance
