My GTA V disk got scratched in my xbox 360 and now it won't go past the option to play online and story mode is there any chance Microsoft or Rockstar will give me a free game code?

    xbox can't read my game

So, if it's just that one game, It sounds like the disk is scratched. Are there any scratches on the disk?

Try installing the disk on your HDD, if your HDD is big enough.

If it can install, you'll have to keep it on there to prevent that from happening again.

If it can't install, it's basically ruined. I would suggest that you go to a game rental store and get it rebuffed. It's usually around the 2 dollar range to do so.

    No.

Some game shops offer a disc repair service so you would need to find one that does.

It's usually cheap but if the scratch is deep it may not work.

No. This is why you install your games. You're responsible for your games. Despite it being a terrible design flaw on Microsoft's part, it's your game, and your disc. Allclass action lawsuits against Microsoft regarding this flaw have failed.

Trying installing your disk or if that does'nt work,Take it to a games store that does scratch removal and disk cleaning,They usually have a high speed machine which should get any scratches out.
