Scary games?

I was at a friend's house and watched him play P.T. for the PS4 and it got me into the mood of playing scary games. I'm looking for one that will make me jump. I've played the Dead Space games, Fear games, and Condemned. Any suggestions besides Silent Hill?

If you have an Xbox one then Outlast is meant to make you need a change of underwear quite a bit.

 

You can try Metro: Last Night, Shadows of the Damned, Dead Island, Alan Wake, Resident Evil 5, Clive Barkers: Jericho, Singularity

 

Dead Island is not very scary IMO. Resident Evil 5 is a good suggestion though. I know a lot of people pooped on this, but Resident Evil 6 was a decent game too. OP you should look up The Evil Within! It comes out in a couple of months I believe. For 360
and X1.

 

You've played the games considered scariest on 360 already, and that new silent hills demo on ps4 is considered one of the scariest games, but you could try alan wake, its a good story, or prey

 

Outlast is by far the scariest. Actually, the dlc for it is even scarier. I jumped a lot during my playthrough. Great game.

 

I will agree with everyone saying Outlast. I just downloaded it the other day and will admit I won't play it at night unless the lights are on. Terrifying yet awesome.

 

I didn't see the DLC for Outlast. Damn, now I have to play it again, as I deleted it from my pc. Oh well....I guess I don't mind playing it again. It's worthy.

 

I completely forgot about Outlast DLC. I heard it was better than the core game, which is very good. I'm definitely gonna get the DLC. But with all these games dropping now, it might be a while

 

I know you said no Silent Hill, but man Silent Hill 2 is the scariest game I most recently played, which is a few years ago now, but SH HD collection would be my suggestion.

Also Shadows of the Dammed is not scary, it could have been, but it's too light hearted through the whole thing.

The Last of Us is the first game that's made me jump since some of the first Resident Evils. I don't see how anyone would think that RE5 or 6 were scary though.

I think I'll have to check out Outlast soon if it's really as scary as people are saying.
