Would love this game to become bc it's one of my all time favourites

I cant find the download purchase for this game ??

....it annoys me on how I get an absurd answer to why it's not on the list because of "licensing agreements" when u have major titles like star wars backwards compatible....

It's not a 'absurd answer', it's the ONLY answer. It's just you haven't taken into account what this means.

The Scarface games are based on the movie of the same name, the big problem with games based on movies is 'Licensing'. The develop/publisher buys a license from the movie studio to make the game from the movie, but this license is only held for a finite
amount of time, it had an end date, which unless the developer/publisher renews, the game can no longer be sold.

There are usually multiple licenses with these types of games.

The movie name license

Actors likenesses - Yes, the game studio had to pay Al Pacino to use his likeness.

In game music licenses.

Because this licenses have now expired, there's no way this game can be made BC. Not without someone paying literally millions of $$$ for those licenses.

Star Wars is somewhat different. Some of the Star Wars games were published by LucasArts, part of the same company which made the films. What remains of LucasArts is now owned by Disney, but to due to the way the licenses work, these games can still be
sold digitally. The latest games are published by Electronic Arts, which is the current holder of the Star Wars license, which is why older EA Star Wars games are still sold digitally.

Only the developer and publisher can decide if they want it to come to BC.

There are factors that will prevent the game coming to BC.

The licence rights to in game content like music is no longer held by the developer/publisher.

The developer is still in business but the publisher is defunct in this instance.
