    From Austria here, same problem (Xbox360 won't connect to Live).

    The rest times out.

    I also see on my router outgoing connections to Live services that don't seem to ever connect:

    I just did a test connecting my Xbox to Internet via mobile network (through wireless hotspot on my phone) with the same result - connection test shows successful connection to Internet but no connection to Live services.

    So services are definitely unavailable, including using two completely different networks.

    I also followed all troubleshooting steps on support site (including resetting network settings to factory defaults, cold reboot of all networking components, etc) as well as re-did port forwarding definitions on my router. None helped.
