SBOX_FATAL_MEMORY_EXCEEDED error when using microsoft edge

When I usually view deviations on Deviantart, it doesn't happen constantly but It will trigger the sbox_fatal_memory_exceeded error message because the website runs out of memory if too many images are loaded but if I watch youtube videos for a hour and close Microsoft Edge, the Xbox will stop recognizing any inputs from my controller and the same thing also applies to the dashboard and settings app.

Exact same thing is happening to me. Edge app on xbox one exceeds memory when playing a video on most websites over 720p. Get the error (SBOX_FATAL_MEMORY_EXCEEDED). Have to refresh the page to resume the video and it happens every 10 minutes. It doesn't appear to happen when watching Youtube for some reason, but every other video streaming website I tried, it happened. I can only asume something was messed up in the last edge update. I've tried every troubleshooting technique, even factory resetting console. This has to be an issue with edge. Until they get this fixed it seems you can still watch in 720p without any problems. I suggest reporting it to edge. Click the 3 dots in the top right, go down to help and feedback, and then send feedback. If they get a few reports they should look into it.

We understand that you're having some performance issue with using the Microsoft Edge Web browser on your Xbox. It appears you can consistently trigger the sbox_fatal_memory_exceeded error message by just vising certain websites. And in some instances, you can even trigger an Xbox crash doing this.

The odd thing though is these same websites when opened in your Windows computer or on your Android tablet using the Google Chrome web browser seem to not slow down or crash those devices. In your personal opinion, these issues can be fixed if changes were made to Microsoft Edge browser on your Xbox.

Honestly, your suggestions are the kind of stuff our engineers would love to hear about. What’s working well, what’s not, and any ideas for improvements including possible new features and functions are very much welcomed. To be sure you are also seeing this when signed in on Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge?

Could you send us a photo of the full error screen on a Windows 10 PC as well so we can see the reference number?

For me this problem is coming up as a loggin error for wifi. It comes up saying that i need to sign in to use microsoft edge.
