Saving my Xbox account.

Hey all,

Once upon a time I was a teenager who made an xbox live account to game with his friends,

Recently i've started playing again but there's a few problems.

- The said account's e-mail is cringey as and isn't really something I want to keep/ associate myself with these days

- I have a new microsoft account that I use frequently that would be the perfect for my xbox account to be paired to

- I tried doing the whole "Alias scheme" but because the microsoft account has already been created I can't "merge" them together

- I've read in a few places that it's impossible to merge accounts anymore but they were from a couple of years ago, so i'm hoping that it's changed or someone is able to help me!

I'd really hate to have to make a new xbox profile due to all the games / time and achivements i've clocked on it.

So I guess the question i'm asking is - Is it possible to put just my xbox account onto an already existing different Microsoft account. I'm more than happy to close my old account (I defeinently wouldn't use it ever again).

Unfortunately, no...it's not possible to transfer data from one account to another.

If you made the save on your sisters account, then that's the only account that will have that save in the cloud and the only one that will be able to access it. You cannot transfer saves from one account to another. You'll either have to continue playing
on your sisters account or start from the beginning on your own account.

Yes I am aware of that but I mistakenly wrote account instead of Xbox as the save game was made on MY account on my sisters old Xbox (Which I don't have access to currently) and it isn't available on my new Xbox and I just want to see if an engineer from
Xbox could help me by going into some database or something and retrieving my previous save and making it my current save in the cloud. Because I definitely was online whilst playing the game and didn't quit when it was saving or anything yet it disappeared

it doesn't need to be an actual email, its more or less a user name, all you need is the password and to make the account your switching it to a MSA (Microsoft Account), if you do need to reset the password try resetting it on your end first through the
website (accounts.live.com), and if you can't use any of the options fill the forum out, this will be required if you call to have your password you will have had to fill the forum out first.

Well you may not be in as bad of shape as you think, You see the Email used to create your MS account is really more of a username it really doesn't need to active, Mine has been non active for over 3 years. So as long as you know the password for your current
MS Account you should have no trouble switching. Create a MS account using the email you wish to switch to. then follow the steps from this link.
