Saving game data after factory reset

No, you will not lose as long as you have a back up or you have them sync with the cloud.

While you’re connected to the Xbox network, saved games are automatically stored in the cloud. If you use your Xbox profile to sign in to a different Xbox console, your saves are available from that console.

I did a factory reset and chose to save game and app data. It worked for me. Just had to go through the setup process again after it

I uninstalled the apps and then after that did a factory reset and saved my game data apps.after the system was back up reinstalled both apps and they worked that should fix it.

I got done with support and had to reset my xbox to factory settings and it helped. I did the option where my games and data saved. my xbox one rebooted and it worked instantly after the reset.
