Savegames and Cloudsave broken after change of username [FH3, FH4]

Well, I changed my username a couple of weeks ago from kojote666 to ExNought (btw. I am 100% sure I never used my free namechange but couldn't be bothered to put up with the MS Support) Today I wanted to play FH4 after being absent for quite a while now.

So the usual way is: Download the game, sync saves from Cloud and game on.

Not in my case.

I can't sync my saves from the cloud.

After some initial research I tried the usual suspects. I restarted my PC, reset the game, heck I even redownloaded the game.

My firewall is open, FH4 is allowed in all networks.

But hey, why did you write Forza Horizon 3 in the title?

Well. The exact same issue happens when I want to play FH3.

Does any of you guys have an idea of why this might happen?

I am a bit of a loss here :/

Hi Erik,

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you changed your name did you happen to sign in with a different email? If not, try and sign out of the companion app and beta app and sign back in. Also go to Xbox.com and make sure the change shows.

Nothing, you will be able to download FH3 and FH4.

I think better to buy FH4 only because you have FH3 already.

I enjoy both FH3 for hotwheels and I do love FH4 for the setting, I guess it will expand as FH3 and the others did.

For the setting i prefer FH4, but for the online multiplayer i prefer FH3.
