Saved game data on previous xbox console

Hi,

I have the Xbox Series X console and the Xbox One X console. I have 2 profiles. I have the Assassins Creed Origins game installed on the Xbox Series X with 2 add-ons (DLC). I have played the whole game and started playing one of the add-ons. The person from the second profile also started playing the game but hasn't started playing the add-ons. I made the setup of the Xbox One X and used the network transfer function to pass the game, the add-ons and the saved game data from both profiles. On the Xbox One X I started the game. So far so good, but when I opened the game for the second profile and want to load the game, it does not let me and informs me that I need the add-ons (DLC) installed, otherwise I can erase the game data and save a new one. Why is it not possible?

I already checked both profiles and the add-ons are installed.

For the Xbox Series X, that console has to use the account that purchased the game and the DLC and must be connected to xbox Live. For the Xbox One X, any account can be used as long as the account that purchased the game and its DLC is set as home Xbox.

It could be a licensing issue. The account that has the license for Assasins Creed and all its add-ons must have their account as the home Xbox on the Xbox One X for profile number 2 that way, the license can be shared. If you've already done that, then try uninstalling the add-ons on the Xbox One X and use the account that owns them to reinstall it again. Here is how to set up your home Xbox.

Hi,

I solved the problem. Even though the Xbox One X is not the Home Xbox from any of both profiles, the second profile can play the games incl. add-ons from the account that purchased the game and the add-ons. The only condition is that the account that purchased the game and add-ons is also logged in.

Since there was no apparent save data on the HrdDrive, I believe that the game's data was just saved to each gamertag. Does this mean that if i re-purchase on my xbox, but still use My gamertag that I had created, and connected to xbox live on the previous
system, that the data would be brought over from my GamerTag?

I only ask this because there is no actual memory save that I can find of Castle Crashers under any user that has played it on the previous console.
