Saved data after canceling Xbox game pass

I previously purchased the Xbox Game Pass and was actively playing Forza Motorsport 7 specifically. I recently canceled my subscription to pay less per month. So now if I were to re-buy the game, will I get my saved data back and continue from where I left off?

I was lucky my ultimate edition codes werent used when I bought mine used

Yup. Your save will still be available for you whether you buy the game outright or just renew Game Pass.

If I get Xbox Game Pass for PC, and cancel does the data on the games save??? I'm wondering before I buy so I don't have to worry about getting a giftcard instantly before it ends.

that's normal! cause the data save are also on the cloud of microsoft!

if you want to restart everything, you should delete data save on your console and also on the cloud! Then i will suggest to cancel also from your sister's console

After that you can play as a new data saving

Until you have e that game or console if series x or pc game

You won have access fo you gamesabes

Cloud saves are separate from cloud games but you need the game to access the saves
