Save My Character.

My group was running low on food, and they hadn't eaten since yesterday. None of my poeple were recovering health as fast as they were losing it. Until finally, I had accrued enough points to move west, to the nice base, to the big base. There we could maintain
enough food production to feed us and the neighbors. My healthiest survivor was then sent out on a celebratory scavenge run. She immediately faced a horde of plague zombies, followed by a couple of unfortunate quick search fails. This left her with very little
health or stamina, no gun, face to face with a feral. It was a close battle, but she came out on top, ready to strike the final blow to the downed opponent. She then flew up about 400 meters into the air, where I promptly paused the game, and have left it to
this moment.

What's my best course of action?

My only complaint about the game!

Do you mean 1500 individual saves? No way how is that even possible lol? I have one save per character and my main character I have saved over 500 times over the same file. My game loads fast.

Borderlands 2 DLC Drop 1. 16/10/12

Just managed to load my save (deleted everything to do with the game, other than my save and cleared the cache. My save will now load but I can get 2 or 3 minutes gameplay before it freezes.

Before deleting everything I tried to make a new character and I couldn't even get to the character selection screen.

Maybe manually save and write down the save number? Also, if you look at the preview info before loading it will include a time and your character's name. I haven't even started a 2nd character yet, but I imagine this will be my plan to save multiple characters.
Memorize the last save number for each character, and double check the preview when loading/deleting saves.

I haven't seen anything on the saving. I hope it is Mass Effect style, where you choose the character first, and then each character can have multiple saves. Because I have accidentally saved over my favorite characters on Oblivion.

Skyrim Dragon

I am not talking about copying files. I was just wondering if dark souls 2 uses 1 save file in the hard drive for all characters or multiple save files for each character. like if you look at skyrim in the hard drive it shows the name of each character and
their individual save files. because if it uses a file for each character like lots of other games then 1 of my characters would be deleted.
