    i was playing borderlands 2 on my xbox one and got hit by a train. my game crashed and when i loaded it back up my save was gone. i went the the xbox 360 menu and went to saved games. the backup was there, but all i could do was delete it. how do i get it back

    Hello @Big..!

    It seems like the game save got corrupted. In this case there is no way to recover a corrupt save. You would need to start over unfortunately. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

    I'm not russian, so i can't read this, but google translate gave me a rough idea of your problem. What I'm gathering from the translated copy is that you can get into the game to start with, but after coming away from the game and going back in, the game
    seems to freeze on the main menu. Is this correct??

    Also, i seem to gather that you have no downloaded content at all.

    First of all, are you using Xbox LIVE? If not, It could be an already resolved issue and you just haven't had the patch. If you are, then it may be worthwhile just downloading one of the free packs, so that it has something to check against. That may solve

    If you're having trouble syncing the saves to the new console, just start the game that the saves are for. That should sync them all up for you.

    I thought about that, but the update files don't exist on the hard drive anymore. After downloading again, it never appears onto the hard drive.

    Have you tried deleting the actual update from your hard drive and then re-downloading it? Maybe it isn't a cache issue rather a save file issue.
