    Like so many others here I have not been able to play MSC for almost 2 weeks. I'm still getting the error:

    Save File Error. The save game file was corrupt. A new save file will be created for you.



    After this error I can only play as a guest - trying to log in gives me the other error on all the posts here about not being able to connect. All the other MS Casual Games are working fine.

    The MS rep on this forum went through and posted generic troubleshooting tips to all the posts even though I'm quite sure most of us had tried these and more long before posting here.

    So far I have:

    • Made sure I have the latest Windows Updates
    • Made sure all Windows Store apps are updated
    • Done MANY clean installs of MSC
    • Cleaned the Windows Store cache (both the command line and Powershell methods)

    Between doing all these steps over and over, endless posts on this forum, endless posts on MS help forums, endless posts on the MSC Facebook page etc I think I can safely say the problem is not on my end. Has anyone found anything that works or gotten additional
    information from MS?

    The frustrating part is that it's not universal - plenty of people are still posting times and scores. Although I've probably been far more productive since MSC went down I would like to get my solitaire fix again!

    Got glitches?

    Have you ever "broken" any of the games you were playing in terms of a save file or something else? I once forgot to login to the correct profile while playing Prison Break, and when I realized the error and switched profiles, it corrupted my save file to being on normal mode, when I was originally playing on advanced!

    Save File Error

    Still getting the Save File Error message when playing Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Lots of little pop-up windows while playing. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

    This worked for me:

    Ok, I have figured out a solution and figured I'd post it here; hopefully it's useful to somebody else.

    As I mentioned in my previous post, reinstalling the game resolved the error, until I imported by old saves from a USB pen, at which point the errors started occurring again.

    After that, I found that simply deleting my Minecraft Save Data from System Storage resolved the error. From there I was able to isolate the problem to a specific data file.

    You should be able to resolve this error as follows:

    1. Go to your PlayStation menu > Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete

    Under Minecraft, you should see 2 files called 'Saved Data', and then 1 file for each of your worlds.

    2. Select the SMALLER of the 2 'Saved Data' files (in my case, 5.25 MB). Do NOT select the larger of the 2 'Saved Data' files (in my case, 31.46 MB).

    3. Select Delete

    This should allow you to reconnect your Microsoft Account, without affecting your World Saves.

    This MIGHT remove the inventory from your character in your world (but I don't think it will).

    I hope this helps. I believe it should. I also think this is the response we should have had from Microsoft when this problem first started before Christmas. It took me what, 2 hours?

    A little help in My Player Mode?

    I've been doing that with NBA 2K11 as well. Yes it takes up memory, buy having 2-3 saves will save you a lot of headaches if one of the files get corrupted. Player 2-3 games and then save in both File 1 and File 2. Then load File 2 for 3-4 games and do the
    same thing again, but use File 1 again when loading the save.

    Here's what I do:

    I save the file to my files, then I update it to my vault named as ''Boosters busters''

    After I leave the video so everyone can see it, I contact Activision support, and generally, the get a reset in somewhat of 1 or 2 weeks.
