Save Data loss, and games Re-updating without there being an actual update.

Hello Demi, It's hard to say but from your description it could be something in the system.

Try removing games that are in quick resume and then follow the procedure below.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

I've actually tried that, including deleting the game, save data, its DLC, the Title Update, my GamerTag, then re-downloading the GamerTag and game, re-deleting the Title Update since that auto-downloads now, and then playing the unpatched game while offline.

I've had no luck. Even while offline, and after creating new save data, the game knows some of my race times. It is a mystery.

I sincerely hope that Behaviour is working on a patch. I'm guessing they're focused on CC2 now though.

The update for FIFA12 is not installed in the cache. It's installed with the FIFA12 saved data. Just delete the update, and start FIFA12, it will re-update, and hopefully solve your problem.

That means if you play the game without the update you can not use that save. Example being if you delete the game and install from disk offline with no updates. Your save will not be usable.

Just agree and go ahead with the update.

This happened to me when the new update came out. Just go to your memory card/hard drive from the dashboard, find BO2, delete the update data, and re-download it.

Dashboard-settings-storage-(location of data)-BO2-update save data (not campaign save data)-delete

This should fix the problem, it sure fixed mine. Sorry about the wait of having to DL the update again, but at least you will be able to play!
