Be aware that signing in to accounts that you do not own is a violation of the TOS and can lead to permanent bans. It does not matter if you have permission or not.

If he is sharing with you the games from a game pass subscription, probably he doesn't have the subscription active any more, first thing to try will be launching the games trough his account

If with his account the ganes work, check with his account that your Xbox is still his home Xbox

I actually just found the solution not long ago. For some reason, a family shared Game Pass account does not work. I had to log into the specific account on the Windows Store that the Game Pass is tied to. It launches perfectly as long as that account
is logged in as the game launches. Really bizarre. Any other Game Pass game works fine under my other account.

I have not found it in the billing orders, what makes it peculiar is my account is the only one on the xbox that has bought any games. Ive never made a secondary account or shared accounts. My 360 was wiped and sold when the one came out. the game has worked
from when it launched backwords compatible on the one.

You don't have to share your account information in order to share games. Any console you have set as your Home console can share the games on your account.
