    Samsung Xbox Game Pass Ultimate


    Hi, I have just purchased a new phone.

    As part of the deal, I get 12 months subscription to Xbox Ultimate Game Pass.

    If I assign the Xbox Ultimate game pass to an existing Microsoft account that my son uses to play his Xbox One Console, can I play games on my Android phone and he play on the Xbox One console with the same account simultaneously?

    Or will I be signed out of the Xbox when I attempt to play on my Android phone?

    Hello Mecca,

    You should be able to play the games on your android phone AS LONG as you are signed into the same Microsoft account as your sons Xbox.

    Thanks for your response, Ron. Unfortunately, remote play is not available for Xbox app on Samsung TVs. We can only play and access games via cloud gaming where there's no console required so long as you have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

    Confirm it on https://account.microsoft.com/services

    Please note the Smart TV only uses Cloud Gaming which requires the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    Be sure to check the device requirements below:

    The Xbox cloud gaming app currently runs on 2021 and newer Samsung smart TV models with software version 1300 or higher. To check your software version, press the Home button on your TV's remote and select Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. The current version is listed on the right side of the window.
    To verify that your Samsung TV supports the Xbox app, go to your TV's app store and then enter xbox in the search box. If you see the Xbox app, your TV will support cloud gaming with Xbox.

    I have same exact issue with my Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra. Game pass mobile app used to work fine, I upgraded my main account to Game Pass Ultimate, and the mobile app crashes immediately. I just tried the airplane mode and wifi reconnect, and the app will now stay connected.
