I can watch tv but I can't change channels from the xbox

I'm sorry to hear the issues you may be experiencing with the Xbox One Network connectivity. I would recommend to

power cycle the Xbox One and proceed with the troubleshooting guide,
"My Xbox One can’t see my wireless network".
