Samsung Model LN T3253H - displays "Mode not Supported" on TV when connecting Xbox

That TV is capable of displaying a picture with the Xbox One. Have you tried all of the HDMI ports and confirmed the TV is on the same input?

If you haven't done so, go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

The Xbox is able to recognise the Dolby Atmos capability on the soundbar if connected directly .

However FreeSync (variable refresh rate ) is not selectable on the display and sound settings page of the Xbox X.

Free Sync is available on my Samsung Q9 and is an option in the game mode menu of the TV.

Game mode is a TV mode that allows low latency on Samsung (and other manufacturers) TV's.

My TV allows Auto Low Latency and this doesn't work when plugged directly into the soundbar (Samsung HW-N950) despite Auto Low -Latency being recognised on the Display & Sound settings page on the Xbox X. The TV will not allow this when the Xbox is plugged
into the soundbar via HDMI then into the TV by HDMI ARC.

Auto Game mode or Auto Low Latency turns on game mode while playing games but turns game mode off automatically should i use a blu ray disc for example.

So two modes made available to me by Xbox and Samsung currently don't work in tandem in the correct manner.

Samsung released a new firmware for your TV model on Oct 1st. Make sure that you have the latest update on your TV. It should be version 1103 or later for Freesync support.

Next, you will need to enable the setting on your TV before the Xbox will detect the capability, and enable the selection in the display settings.

FreeSync is activated by enabling the TV's Game mode and
FreeSync settings

It may depend on the model of your TV. You can try turning off 1080p support (from your TV's settings), or connect the console to another TV to change

display settings.

Which TV model do you have?

When you look in settings/display & sounds/video output/setup/4k TV details does it show your correct model of TV? What you are describing is the TV having issues with mode switching so it sounds like the incorrect model (or an unidentified model) of TV
may be the issue.
