    I bought a Xbox one x probably in 17' and had it fixed for disc drive issues and it's been out of commission for over a 2yrs now because of the same issue I just don't have $240 I may have the receipt. Any chance of getting this taken care of.

    M$ has now way of knowing if you have performed maintenance on your console, which does not qualify for a ban anyway as you are not doing the modification for the purpose of changing how the xbox works, they can only detect modification by checking
    files on the console and seeing if any of these files do not cross reference with the normal capabilities of the console (such as playing an EU disk on an American console, as they are not meant to be compatible).

    I think it is fairly obvious that the disk is the problem for the OP.

    It is also worth taking davmil's advice as new consoles can be very expensive.
