    You can check my backlog of Chat with the support staff, one of them LIED to me saying I would get it at the end of July. The other one says I wasn't going to be getting it due to not fitting within the criteria (even after I was indeed within the time-frame
    and targeted with an ad for 3 months gold) This whole promo has been a disaster and I'm especially choked the support staff lied to me in order to pacify me

    why can't Microsoft support help with this problem

    The 3-month code was meant to be sent out by Email is it in your inbox?
    I too have this same issue and was told to post here after contacting support.

    Promotion was buy 3 months of gold, get 3 months free. The 3 Free months were to be received within 10 days from purchase.

    Received a code via email the following day (with no indication of how many months of fold it was for.)

    Waited 10 days, no secondary code/redemption instructions received.

    Redeeming the initial code, only gives 3 months of gold, not the 6 that stated in the promotion.

    It has been well past the 10 days since purchase, and the free 3 months is no where to be seen.

    Before it's asked, spam and junk mail has been checked. Outside of the initial purchase email/code, nothing relating to the order or promotion has been received.

    Support seems unable to help beyond telling people with this issue to post here.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Unfortunately, we have determined that you did not purchase Gold during the promotion period or from the promotion page on the account you have posted with.

    When taking advantage of the promotion your would have needed to purchase directly from the ad during the specified time in the terms and conditions.

    Was this with another account by chance?

    This is absolutely untrue. I have the receipt from Paypal when I purchased the deal on Feb 10th. I have this receipt and will gladly provide it to you.

    Here is the link that brought me to the Microsoft site that was running the promo, the Microsoft website clearly displayed the promotion was valid at the time of purchase. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/get-3-months-of-xbox-live-gold-for-free-when-you-b/1100-6456422/

    To your last statement: You are again incorrect. I purchased the 3 month Gold for the account I am posting from. I know this because I play Xbox Live weekly with the account in question, that I used this promotion for.

    What is clear is YOU ARE AN ABUNDANCE OF MISINFORMATION: I have proof that 1) I purchased it during the time of the promotion, 2) the source of the promotion and 3) the account I am posting from is my current and only Xbox Live account.

    How are you able to maintain a job and be so bad at it? You are an abundance of misinformation.

    1. Did you purchase 3 Months of Xbox Live Gold via the promotional tile on the Xbox console, or via the page for the promotion at Xbox.com?

    2. The date that you purchased 3 Months of Xbox Live Gold via this promotion (to be eligible, you must have purchased during the promotion window between 1/15/2018 and 1/30/2018).

    We understand this may be a frustrating experience but unfortunately Gamespot is not an official source and they linked you to the purchase Gold standard page not a promotion page.

    Keep in mind that if you purchased a Prepaid Gold code or token this would not qualify you for the promotion.

    If you were able to navigate to the proper location for that promotion and have the proof of purchase of a subscription can you send us photos of that now?
