Same Account to Download DLC, New Home Console to Play Said DLC?

So, I'm thinking of getting an XBOX ONE X this Christmas, and I couldn't be more excited to get one. However, I have one question: On the XBOX ONE I share with my brother, I've used my account to download some DLC like the Titanfall Season Pass when it became free,
Duke Nukem's Bulletstorm Tour, Halo 3: ODST for the Halo Master Chief Collection, and I've even had two Assassin's Creed game installed on there. If I log my account in to a new XBOX ONE X, will I be able to play the DLC and games I downloaded on the old console without having to re-buy them on the new one?

Multiple consoles

A warning to what Smwutches said. There is some content that is registered to a console, meaning anyone on that console can access that DLC. This is typical of older DLC. However, since there was nothing stopping you from transferring it to other consoles
to the same affect (so long as the original account that purchased the DLC was on that new Xbox), a lot of new DLC will only work for the account that purchased it.

If you buy DLC on your account, only your account may be able to play it, and not your sons. While this isn't the case for all DLC, I've been noticing it occur with greater frequency. In addition I've tried within my own home to use DLC my brother has purchased
on his Xbox with my account, and it would not let me play it.

So in theory you can download to both consoles using one account, but only that account *may* be able to use it. Again, I stress may since it is not absolute and some DLC acts differently then others.

Transferring Xbox Live membership to another gamertag and Windows live account

thats no transfering bwtween accounts lol

thats to transfer between consoles

and no there is no transfering dlc between accounts lol

you login into the account and console your want to transfer to and goto account settings

tranafer dlc licenses to the said xbox the dlc is usable on the new xbox offline

the purchase and download history stays thr same on the purchasing gamertag

Yes. Everything you purchased is tied to your account so you can use it on any console you sign into.

Are you playing on the account that purchased the DLC, or are you playing on a new account that is game sharing with the account that purchased the DlC? If you are Game sharing with your dads account or the account that bought the DlC. Then you wont be able
to use any of the DLC. Game sharing/ Homing only allows you to play another persons games. It will not allow you to play the DLC. If you are playing on the same account that previously purchased the DLC. You should be able to go to Fallout 4 in the store and
re download the DLC with out paying for it.
