    So I was just curious what the Xbox safety team's policy was on trolls getting people mad, then abusing report services to get the person banned. Because my experience is that I get banned for being insulted by someone then insulting them back because I'm not gonna just let someone talk to me like that.

    I'm well aware that fault lies in the person who allows themselves to be angered by a troll. I'm also well aware that the "proper" course of action is to just report the troll and go about your day.

    I'm still curious as to why Xbox takes zero actions against the troll who blatantly picks a fight, feeds into the fight to edge on someone, then abuses the report feature to get their way. Do y'all not care? Is it just whoever reports first is the "right" person? Does this have no impact on the appeal process for a suspension?

    Cause I pay great money to use this service just to have it taken away because some troll can pick a fight and doesn't have the guts to finish it, reporting me instead because I jawed back AT A FIGHT THEY STARTED.

    No. It just means the enforcement team don't see what they've done.

    If you're not reporting them at that time, they may not be seeing that. They would only be looking at the report made on you in that situation.

    Nah bro, something like that happen to me to yesterday. I was accused of harassment just because I said anime is not only for kids. Hear me out. Some people report you just to be funny. So because of that i'm on a 21 day suspension. Can't play online, can't text people. I pay money on this service too, and this is what I get 💯😭🔥 This is the exact reason why people quit Microsoft and start playing on PlayStation. It makes me sad getting accused 😞 I did a case review a couple hours ago, and Xbox said I Harassed someone. HOW!? Why do they have a suspension that long?
