about for the Bing search bar located on the Xbox 360 Dashboard, that is not in the Internet Explorer? This is mainly what my question is about. In fact, there seems to be a game search accessible from the Dashboard that follows the content controls in even
returning results higher than prohibited ratings. But since the Bing search tab is not able to be disabled, it renders that particular game search useless.

No, choosing that option will not delete your progress.

In addition to that, it is important to note that as long as your Xbox is connected to the internet, your saved progress in games will be uploaded to the cloud.

In case a corrupt save game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with reset and keep my games & apps.

I looked through the settings, just to do it, and I didn't see anything like that.

I haven't messed with the sound, but my other changes have stayed around.
