    Running Quake 1 on Xbox messed up my colours


    I was playing Quake then I had saved my game and had got out of Quake. When I say I got out of Quake I don't mean I closed the application I just when to the Xbox Series X home screen. After that I closed the my tv, not the Xbox the tv. The moment I turned the tv back on these weird colours were shown. I have restarted the Xbox Series X and even deleted Quake but manage to still have this problem. Does anybody have any solutions? That's how it looks like if you click the link:

    4k streams on HDMI take a LOT of bandwidth and sometimes it gets glitched. The graphics card in the Xbox one is working very hard to put out that much data on a screen.

    Otherwise, it can just be a random glitch in the xbox dashboard. I get it from time to time but when I turned off YCC 4:2:2 it hasn't happened in a while.

    Enabling YCC 4:2:2 chroma color makes the console put out way more data via HDMI and that can go wrong sometimes.

    Did u try to watch regular tv

      1. On your wireless controller, press the Xboxbutton to open the guide.
      2. Select System > Settings.
      3. Select Display & sound.
      4. Select Video options.
      5. Click Enable 24Hz to turn off this setting.
    • Your screen is blank after you turn on the console
      • Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are turned on.
      • Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).
      • Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure.
