    Hey everyone!

    If your game install/update disappeared after taking the latest system update and you are receiving error code 0x80270300 when trying to launch a game, we've got you covered! To get this issue sorted, run through the solutions listed below:



    Solution 1: Check to see if the game is updating

    You may run across this issue if you try to start a game while it is being updated. To verify if that's happening, go through the following steps:



    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select My Games & Apps.
    2. Select Queue to see if the game you want to play is getting an update.

    If the game is not updating, complete the listed in the next solution:

    Solution 2: Restart your console



    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Go to the Settings tab and select Restart console.


    Note: If you are unable to get to the guide or if your Xbox is frozen, press and hold the console's power button for 10 seconds. After the console shuts down, restart it.

    If the game is not updating and you get the message again after restarting your Xbox One, go through the following steps listed in the next solution.



    Solution 3: Delete and reinstall the game



    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select My games & apps.
    2. Focus on the game, press the menu button on your controller, and select Uninstall.
    3. Go to Ready to install, find the game, and reinstall it.

    Game download status keeps disappearing

    I have a similar issue. I had 6 games that were in various stages of downloading updates. Since the system update the entire queue cleared out. When I try to run the game I get the error "0x80270300" and told to let it finish installing. However there is
    no updates to install listed in the update section for each game. At only a 12 Mb connection I do not have the time to uninstall and re-download 200+GB. Is there anyway to force it to check for game updates again?

    Go to system and get the latest update. After installation the games run fine.
