Running an Xbox One as Dedicated Server on Ark

Hello All,

So I maybe a little far fetched here but what I am trying to see if I can do is, set or program an Xbox one and plug it into a Wemo switch. Now from there when I turn the wemo switch on to give Xbox power I want the system to start up sign me in and start
the game ark right away. Now further I want it to go into the dedicated server and start that so I don’t have to physically start the game at home and can be out and about and start that Xbox for the server. Is this even possible and if so could someone help
me do that.

I made an Ark Dedicated server!

I made an Ark dedicated server that will be running 24/7 just bought an extra xbox for this! Since all the new "The Center Map" Servers are down I am running one! If you are interested in joining type in "ArkBoizWaddup" Its on the NEW "The Center Map" if
you can't find it add me or add Zach Is Cobra and we will inv you just type Ark in a message for an inv!

We will also be doing twitch streams and video captures! Will be lots of fun! And its PVP!

Hi there. Tell me the only way to host an ark server is with another XB1. You can't host a server from a pc?

Are all the dedicated ark servers XB1's

unfortunatly what you are asking is not possible for many reasons:

1. the xbox is not deisigned to turn itself on automaticaly, it can only be turned on via the xbox controler, the powe button or via the xbox apps

2. the xbox does have an option to sign you on automaticaly when powered on but the consol will not automaticaly start a game mutch less set it as a server

3. online gaming on xbox require an active gold membership so if you loggin with you account to another xbox the ''server'' will be disconnected from xbox live therefore forcing everyone out of the session (host disconnected)

the xbox is not designed to be a server altough games allow you to host games session it is not ment to be used as a server
