Run Directx11 apps on Directx10 processor

A “directX 10 processor” would be in the graphics card. Your system if it’s up to date has DX 12 on it.

You can replace the video card to play DX11 and 12 games, assuming the rest of your computer meets the specs required.

My system information says that my DirectX Version is dx12 but on the display tab, the Direct3D DDI is 10 and the feature level is 10 only. if I install a video card does the game will read the video card directx version?

Boring. Xbone is struggling enough with DirectX11 nevermind X12.

Since all consoles this gen use AMD GPU's, Mantle is more important and doesn't require Windows8.1 to run. Just another cash in strategy by Microsoft.
