    Rumors of converting physical games to become digitalize


    So I heard online about how Xbox is planning to do the same move as PlayStation where their next console will be digital only but I also heard that it can transfer your physicals game and convert them into their digital version so allowing you to keep the physical games. If this rumor is true which I don’t know if it is. Wouldn’t that mean that most modern games will only be digital only and if so woukd they try to also port their game on like the Xbox series X?

    Microsoft need to implement a convert physical license to digital one.

    Should be an option, when you go to buy or gift a game it should have convert to digital option. Instead of a purchase code you put in your physical license key once converted it disables the physical key.

    I'm sure they could work it out!

    Unfortunately there is no way to convert your physical copy to a digital copy, the only why is to go and buy the digital edition of that game.

    Hi, unfortunaltely you can't use your dvd games on the xbox one s all digital, if you want to play them you need to buy again a digital copy of them... there were some rumor about an official process of convertion from phisics to digital copy to be applied
    by Microsoft, but as of now there is no way to do it, maybe they will start a program in the future but for now you can't use them.
