    I think they will definitely continue making GTA games for a long time to come because of the revenue that Rockstar generates from the sales of this series.

    I agree with the OP, Rockstar know how to make a game, they raised the bar with 3D gaming with GTA III in 2001, did it again with GTA Vice City in 2002, raised it even higher with GTA San Andreas in 2004, GTA IV was an average Rockstar game - still way above
    the standard of what other developer can out, came out of no where with Red Dead Redemption in 2010, and with GTAV they've created something that up there in it's own league.

    I don't think there will be any other developer out there that can beat the first 3 day sales of GTAV other than Rockstar.
