Rocket League - Achievement - Far, Far Away...

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If you have a second controller try playing a local multiplayer match but make sure the other account is signed in first. Or sadly the rocket league achievement might unlock later this week. I had an achievement
unlock almost two weeks later. I gave up and stopped playing the game for awhile, played it again days later and as soon as I launched the game the achievement unlocked.

It is frustrating indeed, especially when you set your mine to complete something. I'm trying not to waste so much time on finding a solution anymore and will def try the troubleshooting from your colleague above. Cheers

I have had this happen with a few other games in the past (SAO: Fatal Bullet being most recent) and you could try getting another achievement in game and seeing if it has a knock on effect, that has worked for me in the past. It is frustrating but it does
happen and no doubt you may just have to walk away from that achievement for the time being and just keep enjoying the game.

I was able to do it ages ago. Maybe it is bugged? Have you tried with support: https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us

First do this:

Try Settings. Select All settings. Select System and then select Storage. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage. Select Yes and restart the console. (This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.)

Then try power cycle and try again with the game: Power cycle.
