    Roblox is instantly shutting down, but still keeps running in the background.


    When I open Roblox, it pops up for 1-2 frames and instantly closes. And when I check task manager, there is 6 Roblox appliances working in the background.

    I've tried various methods to solve it like:

    Scan and fix broken documents

    Reinstalling the Program (Done it like 8 times or so)

    Format the system to Win. 10 (I used 11 before)

    Use safe boot (It opens but I have to use VPN to open Roblox, so it closes again)

    Follow some tutorials on Microsoft

    ... etc.

    I thought that It could be caused because of an account problem because I couldn't delete the files associated with my Microsoft account for some reason.

    Also, when I tried re-installing it recently, it wouldn't finish the download fully. It would end prematurely.

    Speaking of re-installing, I have a similar re-installing problem with the Epic Games Launcher as well.

    To make sure that you have the latest important updates installed, please check if you have pending Windows update:

    1. Right-click the Start menu.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. In the Windows Update window, select the Check for updates button.

    After the update, try running Roblox Again.

    Is it wrong to play with the gpu and the cpu at 100%?

    I personally wouldn't, have you tried shutting down all non-essential programs running in the background?

    Did you completely quit the game when you shut down? Meaning once you went to the dashboard you pressed the menu button and quit. If not, the game still would have been running in the background.

    If this does not work, perform this procedure. All of these steps may take some time to complete.

    1. Open Windows PowerShell (Administrator).

    2. Copy and paste these commands execute them by pressing Enter, you must do this for each one.

    - sfc /scannow

    - DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    - DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    3. In the Windows browser type "wsreset" and run that app.

    This will open the Microsoft Store, wait a few seconds and close it.

    Restart the PC and try again.

    Worried my console is dying.

    the first thing I would try is pulling the power. I don't think the console ever really shuts down. It also reminds me of an android phone OS where apps still run in the background until you force it to quit.
