    RIDICULOUSLY long Forza horizon 4 in-game loading times


    Has anyone encountered this issue? It happened around the time of the latest update/patch . Numerous people and myself are experiencing loading times of up to 15 minutes between online races. You'll join an adventure race and it'll say teleporting players for 15 minutes. You'll do a 2-3 minute race and again youre waiting 15 minutes for the next race to start. Tue loading times were already bad but now online adventure lobbied are unplayable. I'd love to see if anyone has a fix for this. Forza support keeps having me run the same checks that all check out okay. I have a ryzen 9 5900x, 32gb 3600 cl16 ram. Rtx 3080. All my games are stored on SSDs(2tb samsung 980 pro gen 4 nvme). All my hardware drivers are up to date. My copy of windows 10 pro is up to date. No toredo issues . My average speedtest results are 450mbps down and 30mbps up. This is 100% an issue with the Forza horizon 4 server or update they had just recently put out. Ive seen a huge decline in players since the update. I myself have stopped playing until this issue is fixed. Please, does anyone know if there is a fix available or if turn10/playground games is actually going to apply some sort of fix in the near future ?

    I picked up Forza Horizon and love it. I have Forza 4 and it is great also. I will say I have not played ANY racing games in a long time. Horizon was easy to learn and a blast to play with friends.

    Hi there,

    I'm guessing this it the first time you're playing Forza Horizon 4 on PC,

    If you've lost your game data for Forza Horizon 4 on PC, having closed the game before allowing it to sync up, ( which it can take some time to do so ),

    To make sure you've not completely lost your save data, I would load Forza Horizon 4 on you're Xbox console and see if your save data is ok on the Xbox, if it is ok,

    I would then uninstall Forza Horizon 4 from you're PC, then reinstall it and allow it to fully sync up, which may take so time to do so , to see if it works / fixes the issue.

    I'm not sure about the Windows 10 update, as I've not had to do any update's to Windows for Forza over the years of going back and fourth playing Forza Horizon 4 between Xbox and PC and having to sync every time i do so.

    Can you please be more specific?

    Did you download a game and it is not showing up?

    Or are you referring to Forza Horizon 4. If it is Forza Horizon 4 you still need to go and down load it. The betas does not automatically download the new game.
