Rewards tab missing on Gamertag account

I am in the UK and should be eligible for the rewards through games on PC.

I no longer own an Xbox so cannot check if it affects that, but no matter where I log onto my account the rewards tab is missing. All my friends have the tabs "achievement" and "rewards" but I only have "achievement". I have tried on the website, the Xbox app and the mobile version of the Xbox app but there is nowhere to claim achievements.

I am signed up for Microsoft Rewards and do earn rewards when searching on Bing, so the rewards section should be active on the Xbox app/profile, too.

The only thing I can think is that it is because I first created my Gamertag while living in Japan but every location setting I can find on any of my accounts is set to the UK. Asking to migrate my 360 account to the UK produces an error saying try again later (I have tried doing this periodically across the span of 5 years or so) and there is nowhere to say what region the 360 account is currently set to.

I have contacted Microsoft Support a number of times and end up in live chats that last well over an hour but the advisors always have to admit defeat and give up.

I do not want to have to start from scratch with a new Xbox account as I have loads of achievements, progress in games and purchased games but this is currently the only solution I can think of (the Microsoft Advisors told me it's not worth starting from scratch but all my friends are earning rewards that help pay for the monthly Game Pass and I cannot).

I've been asked to restart my Xbox console multiple times and I don't even own one.

Every single call to them just to chase up what is happening with the ticket takes between 60 and 120 minutes! They've told me it's with the "specialist team" so all I want to do is ask for updates but they start troubleshooting all over again (which I do carry out for them but it's an account issue that needs fixing by the 2nd line team).

Microsoft are STILL working on this and STILL can't work out how to fix it.

I've never come across such a clueless second line team before in my life - they don't have the slightest clue how the accounts work and how to fix these issues. I've even tried talking them through Active Directory fixes but since you can only speak directly to 1st line, it's like a case of Chinese Whispers when directing the advice.

It's now been 3 weeks and Microsoft just keeps closing tickets I raise for it because they can't work out what the issue is...

Because they don't care. I raised it with XBox support and they said it wasn't an XBox app issue because the app works as expected when I log in using my account. I can collect the reward points but my Grandson cannot. It appears that there is no telephone number or email for Microsoft Rewards, all you can do is raise a support request, which they are now completely ignoring. I also asked XBox support for a complaints email or telephone number, it appears that they don't exist either. This all goes to prove that Microsoft simply do not care about their customers.

I replied back 3 days ago - still waiting to hear from them

I think I am going to just have to use the new account and lose the games I've already bought along with all the progress I've made
