    Rewards scam

I have recently posted about my rewards account not updating.

I've had the rewards account for 2 years and now I have been told it's because my rewards account is US account and not UK account which I never setup up as a US account so I feel absolutely robbed as I have bought alot of games and add ons especially the
    last 6 months.

How can this be rectified as this is not the first time things like this have happened and I'm getting to the point where I no longer wish to purchase any microsoft / Xbox products, I've been with Xbox live for over 10 years with multiple accounts and feel
    I've been a loyal customer.

Please can you assist on what I can do to redeem my points or a helpline so I can have clarification on above.

    Many thanks.

    :)

  3. I'm in some serious trouble here guys.

Right, but there is a phishing scam going around I read, where they spoof the Xbox Rewards/Bing Rewards connection and so I am a bit worried. One of the ways to tell a scam is that all links go to the same site. Now, granted that site is click.eprize.com/blahblahblahbighugestringofnumbersthatdoesntfitinevenawidescreenmonitorsurlbox
but... I'm stil paranoid that I might have fallen for a phish email, at the very least until those points post in my Xbox Rewards account...

    Rewards scam

    Hello BFV FURY V2,

Your Rewards Account is created based off of information on your Microsoft Account. We see that you migrated from the US region to the UK region yesterday, so since you were in the US region for the past few years, when you created your Rewards Account,
it was based off of that information.

If you wish to continue with Rewards in your currently migrated to Microsoft Account region (UK) and create a new account, you must first close your current account by opting out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/).
You will have to wait 48 hours for us to receive and process your request, after which your account should show up as completely clean of progress and have a join by date of "???". At that point, you can create a new Rewards Account by signing back up again,
which can also take 48 hours. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards). If you check your MyDashboard at
(Xbox Live Rewards), you will be able to see if you are still in the registration process.

    Is pointgods take your account.

A great rule of thumb is, if it didn't come from MS, through rewards or Live, then its a scam.

    Out of Stock

It's a scam. There's no "stock," they just only gave the rewards credits to the first dozen or so people to try to claim them.
