Rewards points issue with pre-order

I pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 during last month's Xbox Live Rewards event, however I received no points. I would greatly like a speedy and easy resolution to this issue.

if I pre order games or buy something that is qualified for reward points do I still get the points if I pre order it or buy something on my xbox or do I have to go to the rewards website ?

I pre ordered mass effect andromeda wich is an eligible game for the current 15000 points pre order promotion but it doesnt show on my xbox live rewards account as pre ordered . I had the same issue with resident evil 7 in december as not showing as pre
ordered and has caused a delay in getting my promotion points added toi my account .

 

That preorder would have counted as a punch towards your games on demand punchcard. You would need 2 other eligible purchases in order to complete that offer and receive the credits.

 

It didn't say it required a specific number of purchases.

 

That's the only offer in February preordering Halo would qualify for and it does state you have to preorder 3 titles.

There was only one offer last month that would have awarded pre-order purchases; Games on Demand. As Smwutches says, that offer requires the purchase of three eligible titles in order to complete.
