Rewards points expiration

Discus and support Rewards points expiration in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I received a message on my Xbox about using my points before they expire on December 2.     Rewards points expiration


    I received a message on my Xbox about using my points before they expire on December 2. It’s currently November 25. I’ve saved over 200,000 points because I was hoping to put them towards Xbox Scarlett when it comes out. Am I not able to do that? I wasn’t
    aware that the points actually expire. Sorry if this isn’t the appropriate place to ask this question. Thanks

    Points expire - VERY DISAPOINTING!

    Any points you are rewarded expire after 12 months.

    points you buy do not expire.

    Unfortunately not, points that are obtained via a promotion (Xbox LIVE Rewards, Bing Rewards, Dashboard promotion, etc) have an expiration date on them. There's no way to get points back that have expired, sorry :(.

    Some additional information: Only reward points given through MS promotions/reward program have expiration dates. Also, you can also check if you have expiring points by going to billing.microsoft.com. It will list next to the points when they are expiring.

    Reward points expire?! That's news to me; I don't recall reading that when signing up for the XBL rewards program, but I did just read the updated ToU this morning that allows MS points to expire. Lame...
