    Hello!

    I am looking to change my Gamertag using the rewards. I see that you can earn more reward points by doing different activties, but I was wondering since I've been a customer since 2009 if my Gamerscore or other customer loyalty points could be awarded to
    allow this action?

    Xbox rewards program updated

    Many of you may remember how due to the change from Microsoft points to actual currency, the rewards program was shut down. Well it's now back with a whole new reward scheme. Awarding gamers with everything from currency credit to discounts on purchases. The basic idea is everything you do gives you point and then eventually you can redeem said points in exchange for in-store currency. Your get points for doing everything from making purchases to simply playing games. Gamers with a high gamerscore even get a discount on purchases.

    My Gamerscore Enters the 5-digits!

    They stopped the rewards program portion for higher gamerscore and replaced it with the more you spend the more you get back

    There are no offers to receive credits for gamerscore and since gamerscore had no monetary value it cannot be exchanged for funds.

    The 9365 is your gamerscore, not Rewards credits. Gamerscore is earned by getting achievements in games. Rewards credits are earned by completing offers in the Rewards program.
