Rewards for upgrading to One S

    Hi,

    I purchased an Xbox One S 1 month ago and upgraded from Xbox One. I do not see 50000 points in my account. How do I get the rewards.

    Missing points

    When I upgraded from my xbox one to xbox one s I was supposed to receive 50,000 points. I only received 30,000 rewards points.

    The promotion was in November 2016 for upgrading to xbox one s.

    I’ve installed Xbox rewards on my xbox one and Xbox one s but I’m not receiving points for upgrading consoles, pleas help and fix this issue

    Hi vsdn1984. The purchase had to be made from microsoftstore.com in order to qualify. We do not see a console purchase transaction from microsoftstore.com associated with your Microsoft account.

    It's best to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions forum for assistance with the Rewards program, but in order to qualify for that offer you do have to be an Xbox One owner upgrading to a One S. You may want to post in the Rewards forum to see if 360 members
    are eligible as well.

    Points for purchases

    Unless there is a specific promotion running (such as the Upgrade to Xbox One S, or physical disc pre-order from microsoftstore.com in the US) we are NOT rewarded for making hardware or physical disc purchases.

    The staff can confirm if you qualified for the One S upgrade, other than that unless the games you purchased were hard-copy pre-orders from microsoftstore.com, and you live in the USA, then those will not count toward MyVip/Rewards.

    The credits should show as pending about 15 days after the console ships. If it's been over the 15 days, you'll want to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions forum so support can check it for you.

    Cannot play any games with an X|S symbol.

    To be clear, did you buy a One S or a Series S? Does it have a disc drive?

    You shouldn’t get any upgrade prompts on a One S, X/S games will not run on a One S, if you upgraded the game to the X/S version, so if you have One S, you should decline upgrades
