Rewards for Squad Players

I love playing COD Ghosts. The problem is, I suck!!!!! For this reason, I play a lot of Squads. This way, I can have some fun and not *** off other players. My question/comment is this: I am determined to get ONE weapon unlocked to gold. This may take several
years and cost millions of dollars but I am determined!! I would like to see the following: Give the squad players the chance to unlock the camos etc within the squad game. That's all I ask.

When I go to play an MP game all my stuff would be re-set to normal (no camo etc) unless I had earned it in MP. This would give players like me something to try for (and maybe improve) and yet it would not skew the MP stats. That's all I want--throw me a
bone!!!!!

Thoughts?

Operation BALLISTIC (Jan 25th-27th)

The Event Description hints at a "Squad Goal" that could result in more enemies and harder objectives "If we fail to accomplish this" but gives no details. I personally wish that they'd get back to the Victory Pack rewards for squad goals, those packs contained
things that I actually used and in combination with the Commendation Packs are more of an incentive for the community to participate, has the amount of players decreased so much that they've abandoned squad goals for good? The lobbies look still to be quite
active to me...

 

Been thinking about this a lot lately as I too mainly play squads... Tired of the hackers in MP. When I first heard about the squads mode when they announced the game, I thought "Cool, IW is finally taking after 3arc with their Combat Training." Only to
find that the kills and deaths on the guns carry over between Squads and MP, but you can only unlock reticles, camos, ect. on MP. I was hoping they would've had it set up like 3arc with unlocks exclusive to that game mode, but still have them. IW had it with
local MP on MW2, so why the hell not now?

 

Long as your ding the squads with other live people, it should count.

 

I don't thank you can unlock camos in squads the best thing to do and is real fun is do prv, party games everything counts when playing party games. I will be on tonight Rip and will do some party games if you want.

 

Just buy the camos you want via microtransactions, nothing in CD is "earned" anymore.

 

I probably didn't explain myself properly. I'm not wrapped up in "having" the unlocks, its more a matter of being about to simply earn them. As I said before, if IW doesn't want that to count in MP, no problem.

Forgot to add last post--interesting that your K/D follows you from squads to MP?? interesting that while you're learning and getting slaughtered in every match you "get" to keep those stats!!!

It would actually be nice to see rewards you could earn for MP and Squads by playing the different squad modes.

 

play MP - I am not great at Ghosts, k/d is like 0.95 or so and there are times i get totally mullered - but i don't care about stats, i care about fun!
