    Rewards card I was issued was already redeemed


    I redeemed Microsoft Rewards points this morning (January 15, 2018) for $10 Microsoft gift card. When I immediately tried to redeem it (10:50 am EST), I got a message that it was already redeemed.

    After chatting with a Microsoft Agent for 40+ minutes, and being told that code was redeemed on ANOTHER account in MAY of last year, I was told I needed to post here. Please help.

    I got my Xbox rewards $5 gift card stolen. Could I get another and could you find out who stole it?

    I got an email getting my xbox rewards $5 gift card but when I entered the code, it was already redeemed.

    Since that is not a rewards program issue, rewards support will not be able to assist. If you mean you already redeemed the card, then it's 1 time use only and cannot be readded.

    For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you'll need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. The Xbox Rewards program is not the same.

    If you haven't done so already, you would need to use your Rewards points to redeem the gift card on the Rewards site. Then you will be given a 25 digit code to redeem.

    Microsoft rewards question.

    Yes I understand that it will add on to my existing microsoft credit. The question is that the gift cards you redeem through rewards have a 90 day expiry date where you have to spend that money within that time. The money I have in my account is through bought gift cards and as so has no expiry date to use the money by. I just want to know if I redeem gift cards through microsoft rewards, when I buy a game it will use the gift card money with the expiry date first and not the money i already have in my account. If that makes sense. Thanks.
